Mäshké Health Update

Evident from the pic, my munchkin is doing really well and healing nicely. She’s done with her antibiotics and has been eating very well.

We resumed her regular food (i.e. not blending them) yesterday and she’s been able to go up and down the full flight of stairs several times. I knew her pain had drastically reduced when she started jumping on her two hind legs again. She even attempted to jump onto my bed. We’ve actually played quite a lot today.

Another good sign is that she’s been barking a lot. Vet says we can come for her review on Saturday and hopefully get her stitches taken out if she’s healed sufficiently. I wish I could explain to her that swallowing a pebble got us into this mess because when we go outside, she tries to pick some up again. The cone has been a really great preventive tool.

All in all, I’m just so thankful she made it and is doing great.

SN: I can’t wait to give her a bath again because she’s looking too scruffy partly due to her wound spray discoloring her fur.
